Hello, I'm Shuba
Welcome to Powder Puff.
I’m a mom of twin girls, a designer, a former teacher—
and now, the founder of this little brand with a big heart.
Powder Puff didn’t begin as a business.
It started with a quiet moment one morning—
when I looked at my daughters and thought,
“They need something.”
Not something fancy. Not something they could ask for.
Just a soft, comfortable first layer that felt right for them.
Something that didn’t feel too grown-up or awkward.

But I couldn’t find it. Everything in stores felt too mature, too shaped, or simply too uncomfortable. So, I decided to make it.
With the support of my husband’s garment unit, I had the rare chance to explore.
I tested fabrics, adjusted fits, and obsessed over every tiny detail—
not as a product designer, but as a mother.
I asked the real questions:
- “Will they fidget with this in class?”
- “Will it be comfortable during sports?”
- “Will they want to wear it—or will I have to remind them?”

After many prototypes (and a lot of learning), I created what I couldn’t find:
A gentle first bra that doesn’t feel like a big deal.
If you’ve landed here, chances are you’re in that same in-between moment.
Your daughter’s not quite asking, but she’s growing.
And you’re just looking for something that helps her feel… okay.
Not rushed. Not self-conscious. Just comfortable.
That’s what Powder Puff is here for.
This isn’t a milestone.
It’s not a “big talk.”
It’s just something soft, folded quietly in her drawer,
waiting for when she’s ready.
Thank you for being here. Truly.
I created Powder Puff for my girls—but now, it’s for yours too.
With warmth,
Shuba

Our Photography
At Powder Puff, as a mother with girls of my own, it doesn’t sit well with me to focus on how our products look on someone else. Instead, we focus on how they make your daughter feel—comfortable, confident, and ready to take on the world. That’s why we only show the products themselves, highlighting the fit and comfort that truly matter. That’s what’s most important to us
